About the Programme

The Three Year Unitary LL.B Programme offered by the St. Dominic’s College of Law is a comprehensive Programme spanning over six semesters providing a focused learning for graduates, equipping them with essential legal knowledge and skills. The curriculum is meticulously designed to incorporate the latest developments in the field of law ensuring that the preparedness of the students for venturing into the evolving legal landscape.

This Programme caters to the needs of graduates seeking to pursue a career in law by offering a rigorous curriculum that addresses the core principles and practical aspects for not only taking up legal profession, but also to strive for a spectrum of career avenues in the emerging contexts.

Intake 60 Seats

50% of the intake is based on the select list of the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala, 2024. The Allotment and Admission to the college will be subsequent to the Centralized Counselling conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala. 50% of the seats are to be filled by the Management based on the criteria that it sets.

Eligibility

Minimum qualifying marks - Not less than 45% (without Rounding) of the total marks in the case of applicants in General Category, not less than 42% marks (without Rounding) for candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and 40 % of total marks (without Rounding) in the case of applicants belonging to SC and ST Category must be obtained for the qualifying examination, such as Higher Secondary or its equivalent examinations.

Duration of the Programme

The Programme envisages a regular study for a minimum period of Six semesters in Three academic years.
